FIELD: oil production, development of oil fields comprising inhomogeneous pools, in particular. SUBSTANCE: process includes periodic injection of forcing agent into injection wells and periodic operation of part of production wells under forced mode with shut-down. Time of shut-down is found by data of hydrodynamic examination of wells. In this case all stock of production wells in divided into three groups. First group includes production wells with running water content of produced product above average running water content of all wells. Second group of production wells with running water content of produced product below average running water content of all wells but above average accumulated water content during the entire time of exploitation of field. Third group comprises production wells in which running water content of produced product is below average accumulated water content during entire time of exploitation of field. Laboratory investigations are conducted to determine volumetric coefficient of oil, density of oil under surface conditions, factor of driving of oil by forcing agent, pressure of oil saturation with gas, coefficients of elastic capacitance of stratal fluid and rock. Results of preceding period of exploitation of each production well are analyzed in addition and mobile stocks of oil, lengths o main and neutral lines of current are determined and radii of draining zones of wells are computed. Single cycle including periodic pumping of forcing agent into injection wells and periodic operation of part of production wells under forced mode is divided into four periods. In the course of first period production wells of first group are shut off with production wells of other groups operating and forcing agent is pumped into injection wells. During second period production wells of second group are shut off in addition. In third period pumping of forcing agent into injection wells is stopped and production wells of second group are put into operation. In the course of fourth period pumping of forcing agent into injection wells is recommenced and production wells of first group are put into operation. Then cycles are repeated till full water flooding of collectors or till economic criteria of termination of operation of wells are achieved. Duration of each period of cycle in days is determined by analytical expressions. EFFECT: increased coefficient of oil recovery thanks to involvement of low-penetrable and stagnant zones of pool. 1 cl, 6 tbl
