FIELD: mining and metallurgical industries. SUBSTANCE: process can be employed for development of mineral- and metal-carrying ores, sands, solid combustible mineral resources, precious stones, building materials and so on. Process of development of deposits of solid mineral resources includes isolation of extraction blocks, differentiated short-delayed localized blasting of each extraction block by horizontal deep-hole charges of small diameter in layers, from top to bottom, selective excavation of mineral resources by types and kinds and their separate shipment to dressing subcomplex and of barren rock to rock spoil dumps, delivery of concentrates and enriched mineral stock to metallurgical subcomplex and winning of finished products. According to process primary and metallurgical processing of mineral resources are carried out right in open pit. EFFECT: increased efficiency of surface mining of deposits of solid mineral resources thanks to substantial of bulks and distances of shipment of recovered mineral wealth by creation of integrated mining and metallurgical complex directly in open pit. 1 cl
