DIESEL ENGINE FUEL FEED SYSTEM Russian patent published in 2002 - IPC

FIELD: mechanical engineering; diesel engines. SUBSTANCE: diesel engine fuel feed system has fuel injection pump, delivery valve, make-up line, additional channel and non-return valve. Pumps is connected with nozzle through delivery valve and high-pressure pipe. Non-return valve is arranged in additional channel which is connected by one end with high- pressure pipe and by other end with make-up line. Standard fuel intake strainer is of floating type. System is furnished additionally with electric, fuel feed pump and heavy admixtures fuel intake which are arranged in lower part of fuel tank and are connected with make-up line with non- return valve. EFFECT: provision of reliable operation of diesel engine and long service life of fuel devices. 1 dwg
