FIELD: chemical engineering; spectroscopy. SUBSTANCE: method involves subjecting sample containing quadrupole nuclei to a series of n radio frequency impulses having time intervals between them. Filling frequency is equal to resonance frequency of the transition under excitation. Echo signals are recorded after impulse action taking place. The time intervals between the impulses are set equal to each other but less than transverse relaxation time. Radio frequency impulse duration values are set in correspondence to observed signals maximum. EFFECT: enabled maximum amplitude echo signals to be observed. 1 dwg
