FIELD: agriculture. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has drum inside which blades are located in spaced relation with respect to drum internal surface. Heat-carrier is supplied into drum through air duct equipped with slit extending along the entire length of drum in opposed relation to repeatedly mixed material under drying process. Converging tube is arranged outside drum and adapted for discharge of heat-carrier. Drum surface is cleaned from small-sized contaminants seized in perforations by means of cleaning members made in the form of rings and located outside drum. Rings adhere with their outer surface to drum outer surface along the entire length thereof and arranged in spaced relation on shaft extending along drum generatrix. Apparatus provides for simultaneous directed blowing of several seed layers discharged from blades and of seed layer adjoining to drum, and also provides forced cleaning of drum perforations from small contaminants. Apparatus may be used for drying seeds of different crops, such as beet, cereals, leguminous etc. EFFECT: simplified construction and wider operational capabilities. 2 cl, 3 dwg
