FIELD: chemical or microbiological laboratory equipment. SUBSTANCE: mounting stand has carcass made open on all sides and formed from stainless sheet steel. Strip receiving slots are positioned at carcass ends on poles and adapted for mounting strips at level depending on test tube height. Strips are made from silicone thermally stable rubber. Rods are pressed in strip ends so that they protrude beyond strip width. Rods are equipped with bores allowing strips to make a slight interference fit in pole slots. Interference fit is provided by smaller length of strips as compared to length of carcass. Each strip has openings of diameter corresponding to that of test tubes. Strips of silicone thermally stable rubber inserted into lower and upper slots of poles are free from openings and adapted to serve bottom and top of mounting stand, respectively. When strips are subjected to tension, their openings become oval-shaped to provide for reliable retaining of test tubes during transportation, inclinations and shaking on inclined table of shaker. Apparatus may be used in shakers for cultivating microorganisms. EFFECT: simplified construction, increased efficiency and convenient use. 3 cl, 2 dwg
