FIELD: nuclear power engineering; fuel element process lines for their discharging, charging, in-line transport, and manufacture. SUBSTANCE: Magazine for handling fuel elements of VVER-1000 and VVER-440 reactors during their manufacture in process lines without damaging them has frame of long- measuring metal structures 1 and posts 2 with sets of main shelves 3, seats 7 and 8 for gripping element 9 of load-carrying mechanism, and locks. Main shelves of magazine are made of polymeric material and are inclined toward posts. Transport magazine is provided with cover 6. Magazine frame is provided in addition with vertically movable reciprocating posts 12 having polymeric shelves 13 which are disposed above fuel elements 5. These shelves are tilted in same direction as main ones and have stops 14 closing grooves 4 when in closed position. Locks are made in the form of pins spring-loaded with respect to long-measuring structure and passed through holes of the latter. Pins are secured on one end to upper shelves with stops of each vertically movable reciprocating post and on other end, to lower part of J-shaped lever above each post. Upper parts of levers are joined together by means of hinged links with upper parts of additional levers. EFFECT: enlarged functional capabilities. 6 cl, 5 dwg
