FIELD: oil producing industry. SUBSTANCE: proposed drive has support derrick, drive frame, induction motor, shaft, drum, pulleys, fixed axle, pulleys, movable axle, wire rope, sucker-rod hanger, casing pipe cap and flexible members. Frame of drive fastened on upper part of derrick carries similar induction motors connected to each other and to drum by shaft. Stator windings of motors are series-connected into star or delta in bases. Drum is made bicylindroconical, symmetrical. Axis of symmetry of drum coincides with axis of well. Drum gas sections with axis of well. Drum has sections with cylindrical and conical surfaces at both sides of axis of symmetry on which groove for laying wire rope is made. Beginning of wire rope is connected to left-hand end face of drum and its measured length is placed in groove on cylindrical part. Then wire rope passes over pulleys installed on rigidly secured fixed axle and pulleys installed on axle movable relative to derrick and rigidly connected to sucker-rod hanger. Second measured length of wire rope, equal to first one, is laid in extension of drum groove on right-hand side from its axis of symmetry. End of wire rope is fastened on right-hand end face of drum. Travel of sucker-rod hanger is limited from bottom by one flexible member and from top two flexible members. EFFECT: improved reliability of drive of sucker-rod pump owing to reduction of dynamic forces in wire rope. 1 dwg
