FIELD: vertical take-off and landing flying vehicles. SUBSTANCE: for forming lifting force "F", use is made of flat horizontal lifting surface 2 mounted on case 1; rotor 6 with horizontal blades 7 is mounted in center "0" of this surface with enclosed space 4 provided under them; enclosed space 4 is isolated from outside space by rotor blades and by upper plane of lifting surface 2. Air interacting with revolving rotor 6, 7 is entrapped radially relative to center "0", thus forming horizontal air flow 3 which gets in contact with lifting surface in its peripheral portion only. Revolving blades of rotor form horizontal air flow. Accelerated air flow 3 formed above lifting surface is directed downwards. Lifting force "F" is created due to difference in atmospheric pressure "P" on lifting surface on side of stationary air under it and reduced pressure in closed space 4 above lifting surface at downward acceleration of air flow 5 above lifting surface from surrounding space. Rotor torque is compensated for by means of vertical aerodynamic surfaces 9. EFFECT: extended capabilities. 5 cl, 2 dwg
