PLOW SHARE Russian patent published in 2002 - IPC

FIELD: agricultural engineering. SUBSTANCE: plow share has share base made as trapezium-shaped plate. Sides of plate form landward edge and trailing edge. Large base of plate forms cutting part edge and small base forms back for plow-bottom surface end. Plow share cutting edge and back are extending parallel one with respect to another. Plate is equipped with openings arranged at back side along and parallel thereto and adapted for receiving attachment members for attaching share to plow body tine shoe. Hard-alloy surfacing is formed at plate rear side adjacent to landward and trailing edges. Facing sides are extending in parallel with landward edge and bases, in parallel with cutting edge. Their width is (0.07-0.13)L, where L is working length of blade from landward edge to trailing edge. Length of sides is limited at one side with blade and at other side with shoe lower end. Thickness of hard-alloy facing is 1.5-2.5 mm. Cutting part sharpening angle (at the side of working surface) is 8-12 deg. Portion formed by intersected landward edge and blade defines share tip.
