FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: plough share comprises a frame (1) with field (2) and furrow (3) edges, a back (4), a cutting part (5) with a blade (6) and an applied chisel (7) made in the form of a parallelogram, and mounting holes (8). The frame (1) has surfacing (9) strips located in front of the mounting holes (8) and oriented perpendicular to the line (a-a) passing through their centre, the angle of which is 12° less than the angle of inclination of the field edge (2). The length of the strip (l₁) of the surfacing (9) on one side is up to the cutting part (5), and on the other hand, the length (l₂) of the surfacing (9) is 2-3 mm greater than the radius (R) of the mounting hole (8).

EFFECT: wear resistance of the plough share frame is increased and the service life of the working body is increased by applying strips of a hard alloy layer to the frame in front of the mounting holes.
