HOTBED-DESALTER Russian patent published in 2002 - IPC

Abstract RU 2185052 C2

FIELD: agriculture. SUBSTANCE: hotbed-desalter has plant holders connected so as to form conveyors positioned in vegetation pipes arranged in helical path on surface of hemispherical devices so as to form columns mounted on single circular platform equipped with circular rotor and positioned for rotation around stair-lift shaft provided with stator and mounted in center of circle. While platform rotates around shaft, power is generated for hotbed-desalter itself as well as for other needs. Hotbed-desalter of such construction is preferably used for recovery of energy released during plant growing in regions with sweet water deficiency, and uses property of sea organisms to withdraw salt from sea water in light and recovering obtained salt to produce nutrient solution for plants. EFFECT: increased efficiency in desalting water and wider operational capabilities. 4 cl, 23 dwg
