FIELD: methods of desalting and purification of waters of various origin. SUBSTANCE: sewage waters are passed through coastal-water plants and associations of floating water plants in system of ponds with their inoculation with bacterial biomass generated in accumulator of used and excessive biomass and containing phosphate-accumulating bacteria. Device for embodiment of proposed method consists of a cascade of bioponds in which higher and lower water plants are grown and accompanying biocenosis is formed. Device additionally has an area for storage of used biomass and pond of fresh water which are interconnected by channel. Said unit serves for accumulator in which bacterial biomass is generated which is used for inoculation of treatment systems. Used in treatment system are members with developed hydrophobic surface, for instance, polyester or lavsan nets, wire brushes on which inoculated microorganisms in ponds are fixed and accumulated. Proposed method and device are used in biohydrobotanic desalting of mineralized sewage waters and water desalting in systems of water treatment for technical, amelioration, household and other purposes. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 5 cl, 4 dwg, 1 tbl, 1 ex
