FIELD: ferrous metallurgy, in particular, manufacture of rolled products. SUBSTANCE: method involves melting and heating low carbon steel with following hot rolling; cooling hot strip to winding temperature of 640-700 C at cooling rate of 4-50 C/hour; winding into roll; cooling roll at cooling rate of 16-50 C/hour to etching temperature; cooling to temperature of 30-40 C and dressing at low reduction extent (of up to 1.0-0.2%). EFFECT: improved quality and reduced cost of metal product by decreased conversion stages.
