FIELD: components of pumps designed for lifting of fluid from wells in oil producing industry. SUBSTANCE: sucker rod consists of body and heads on both ends. Head includes thread with stop shoulder and shaped part in the form of square and two stop shoulders. Distance between the first and second stop shoulders in head height of body of sucker rod elevator plus length of thread. In the course of round-trip operations, sucker rod is caught by elevator, under the first stop shoulder, and lie fork is installed to under the second stop shoulder. Hung on lie fork is sucker-rod string in process of screwing-unscrewing of upper sucker rod held by elevator. Due to it, round-trip operations are performed with the help of one sucker-rod elevator constantly suspended from travelling block and catching the sucker rod by its round part under stop shoulder. EFFECT: improved technology of round-trip operation with sucker rods in the course of well repairs. 3 dwg
