SUBSTANCE: air conditioner includes refrigerating machine with air-cooled condenser; method consists in control of condenser cooling temperature at ambient temperature below 5 C; used air escaping from condenser is partially or fully bypassed to condenser inlet and is mixed with outside air. Air-cooled condenser of air conditioner arranged in casing together with condenser forming inlet and outlet chambers and bypass passage; inlet and outlet ports of casing are provided with swivel shutters. EFFECT: extended functional capabilities; enhanced reliability at low temperatures.
