FIELD: ventilation.

SUBSTANCE: air conditioner, in which heated air can be quickly supplied by means of a simple configuration at the beginning of the heating process, is described. Air conditioner (1) includes at least compression mechanism (21), internal heat exchanger (41), internal fan (42), external electric expansion valve (24) and external heat exchanger (23), in which pressure detector (29a) determines the pressure of the cooling agent flowing from compression mechanism (21) to internal heat exchanger (41). Control unit (11) stops internal fan (42) until compression mechanism (21) is changed over from the rest condition to start-up and the pressure determined with pressure detector (29a) reaches target high pressure (Ph), and when target high pressure (Ph) is exceeded, control unit (11) performs the control to actuate and stop internal fan (42) so that the high pressure condition is maintained.

EFFECT: higher operating reliability.
