FIELD: testing equipment, testing ground gas- dynamic investigation of effect of shock waves on various objects. SUBSTANCE: cellular blasting chamber includes individual interconnected modules to position explosive charged. Each module presents assemblage of uniaxial tubes arranged with clearance between their butts facing one another to position flat explosive charges. Modules are installed in parallel one another with such axial displacement that clearance of each module is opposite to wall of adjacent module. Value Δx of clearance is chosen from condition 2hexp<Δx≤5hexp, and lateral dimensions of tubes are chosen from condition , where hexp, hexp are thickness and radius of explosive charge correspondingly; Rin is inner radius of tube. Given chamber makes it possible to secure action of shock wave of specified duration and amplitude on object thanks to successive blasting of explosive charges placed in parallel one another. EFFECT: increased functional reliability of chamber. 2 dwg
