FIELD: medicine, pulmonology, neurology. SUBSTANCE: antibodies to the main protein of myelin in blood serum are detected due to immuno-enzymatic assay. At higher content of antibodies to the main protein of myelin being above 0.199 U the infection of nervous system is diagnosed at earlier stages of its development. The method is considered to be available, needs no expensive equipment, is of high information content and could be used under condition of both municipal and regional hospitals.
