FIELD: optics. SUBSTANCE: panoramic catadioptric lens has one optical element including four surfaces and aperture diaphragm. First surface is convex refracting surface, second surface is concave reflection surface, third surface is convex reflection surface, fourth surface is plane- refracting surface. Aperture diaphragm is aligned with fourth surface. First three surfaces are spherical surfaces. Clear aperture of first and second surfaces are equal and amount to ( 0.95-0.98 ) double radius of first surface. Clear aperture of third surface can make ( 0.1-0.9 ) diameter of fourth surface. Point of joining of first and second surfaces can have form of cylindrical belt having width 5-10 mm. EFFECT: simplified design of lens with maintenance or increase of flied of vision without any loss in quality of image. 2 cl, 4 dwg, 1 photo
