FIELD: medical engineering. SUBSTANCE: device has amplifier-limiter and T-trigger mounted in series, two optic systems and shift register composed of several cells which control input is connected to impulse generator output. The device input into the initial state is connected to the amplifier-limiter output which input is connected to point photoconverter output disposed in the posterior focal plane of the second optic system. Infrared radiator row is arranged in the posterior focal plane of the first optic system, input of each of which is connected to output of the corresponding shift register cell. Head telephones are connected to the T- trigger output port. EFFECT: high accuracy in measuring distance to an obstacle. 1 dwg
