FIELD: medicine, phytotherapy. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agents with sedative effect. The proposed agent comprises extract of a mixture of the following medicinal plants: hawthorn, hop, common balm, motherwort, coneflower and valerian taken in the ratio = 2:1:2:1:1:1, respectively. Extract is prepared by extraction with 40% ethyl alcohol taken in the ratio raw : extractant = 1:1. Agent comprises also glycine, sorbitol and water taken in the definite ratio of components.
