FIELD: gas-liquid separators based on joint action of centrifugal and gravitational forces. SUBSTANCE: proposed separator has primary separator formed by expansion chamber, secondary separator formed by screw for direction of flow and tertiary separator which is just reservoir or tank for gravitational separation. Separator has also intermediate zone located between primary and secondary separators and provided with at least two screws at varying pitch whose inclination changes from 90 deg. to angle of inclination of screw at constant pitch of secondary separator. Function of intermediate zone is forming "smooth" transition of flow between primary and secondary separators. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of separation of gas from oil. 10 cl, 4 dwg
