FIELD: manufacture of grinding discs of superhard abrasive materials and designing optimal structure of grinding discs. SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of using grinding discs with abrasive grains having maximally possible strength; determining wear rate of binder of each grinding disc in zone arranged in front of abrasive grains; selecting as optimal concentration of abrasive grains in grinding disc with minimum wear rate of binder.
