FIELD: transport engineering; vehicle brake system antilocking devices. SUBSTANCE: proposed electropneumatic pressure modulator has two electromagnetic valves and relay valve. Relay valve has normally closed pneumatic valve of inlet channel and normally open pneumatic valve of discharge channel with shutoff members in form of diaphragms. Control space of inlet channel pneumatic valve is connected through pneumatic relay with inlet channel or with outlet channels space in modulator housing. Pneumatic relay and control space of discharge pneumatic valve are connected through channels and electromagnetic valves with control valve or with atmosphere. Modulator provides control of pressure in brake system according to three- phase algorithm: increase, decrease and maintaining of pressure. EFFECT: provision of quick response and accuracy of operation of modulator, simplified design and process of manufacture, reduced overall dimensions and mass, improved reliability and increased service life of modulator. 2 dwg
