FIELD: temperature control systems of spacecraft and ground tests of such systems. SUBSTANCE: proposed device includes panel with two surfaces; mounted on one of them are heat-generating devices which are thermally connected with other (radiating) surface by means of thermal tubes. During ground tests, panel is positioned vertically and heat-transfer liquid contained in thermal tubes accumulates in their lower ends. To avoid this, controllable infra-red radiation sources are provided which act on these lower ends of thermal tubes. As a result, counter flow formed in thermal tubes for transfer of heat from devices to radiator surface of panel unit. This surface is cooled with gas (cold air or dry nitrogen) at areas corresponding to positions of device on other surfaces. Proposed method includes mounting of these members in required positions. Infra-red radiation sources are placed on mounting frame near said radiator surface of panel unit and are positioned in required direction of radiation. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency; satisfactory simulation of operation under weightlessness conditions. 9 cl, 6 dwg
