FIELD: organic chemistry, biochemistry, enzymes. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the use of the known bromine-derivatives of benzotetrazine-1,3-dioxide of the general formula (I) where R1 and R2 are different and mean hydrogen atom or Br as irreversible inhibitors of [H, K]-adenosine triphosphatase. The novel inhibitor of [H, K]-adenosine triphosphatase shows the enhanced inhibitory ability and the more selective effect. Bromine-derivatives of benzotetrazine-1,3- dioxide inhibit activity of [H, K]-adenosine triphosphatase in microsomal fraction of stomach mucosa irreversibly and selectively. Both 6- and 7-Br-benzotetrazine-1,3-dioxide shows the enhanced efficiency as specific irreversible inhibitors of [H, K] -adenosine triphosphatase as compared with similar effect of 5,5'-dithiobis-(2-nitrobenzoic)acid.
