FIELD: civil engineering, design of safety, guarding devices protecting door and window apertures in buildings of various assignment against thieves. SUBSTANCE: proposed safety device includes two guides anchored on opposite sides in plane of aperture, bars intercoupled by guarding members and mobile bushings put on bars in staggered arrangement. Device is fitted with locking members which fix bars in moved-apart state and have form of combs movably joined to guides. Guarding members come in the form of flexible steel cables. Cables are rigidly coupled to mobile bushings of adjacent bars and to immobile bushings put on odd or even bars and placed in close proximity of one of guides. EFFECT: simplified design and decreased labor input in manufacture of safety devices. 7 dwg
