FIELD: construction, in particular, constructions of protective safety devices, applicable for protection against thieves of the door and window openings of buildings of various purpose. SUBSTANCE: the protective device for the door and window openings has a fixed and a movable bar interconnected by enclosing members, two guides fastened on the opposite sides in the plane of the opening, and supporting members. It is provided with compression springs, some of them are positioned at the ends of the bars, and the other are linked with the guides. The guides and the enclosing members are made in the form of cables. The supporting members are made in the form of movable bushes positioned on the guides. Each of the bushes is linked with two ends of adjacent enclosing cables, which are linked between one another is a staggered order by means of tie pieces. The ends of the extreme enclosing cables are linked with the movable bushes located at the ends of the fixed and movable bars for engagement with the compression springs. Some ends of the guide cables are rigidly fastened on one of the sides in the plane of the opening, and the other ends of the guide cables are linked with the compression springs fastened on the opposite side of the opening. EFFECT: simplified construction, reduced specific quantity of metal per structure and labor content of device manufacture. 4 dwg
