FIELD: construction, particularly devices adapted to protect window openings and emergency escapes.
SUBSTANCE: protective-and-evacuative device comprises double window guard with rods pivotally connected to window opening from outside and provided with additional hinge means for outer and inner guard layers connection with each other. The rods define cells. Protective-and-evacuation device also has fixation mechanism, leaf springs installed between inner and outer guard layers. Outer and inner layer cells are shifted one from another so that rod crossing of one guard layer is in center of cell defined in another guard layer. Additional hinge means is made as elongated chain links pivotally connected to extreme bars of inner and outer grid layers.
EFFECT: increased reliability.
