FIELD: mechanical engineering; internal combustion engines. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to internal combustion engines with double-circuit or single-circuit cooling system and is aimed at improved their efficiency. According to invention forced heating of cooling liquid inside heat-insulated tank is provided owing to the fact that pipeline taking in cooling liquid from external source is connected through check valve at suction side of pumping out pump. Lower part of heat-insulated tank is connected by compensating pipelines provided with shutoff valve with suction branch pipes of water pumps of heat machine cooling circuits, supercharging air and oil branch pipes, and steam pipes from top points of corresponding cooling circuits are connected to upper part of heat-insulated tank which is used for preparing cooling liquid and keeping at long idle periods of heat machine.
