FIELD: mechanical and transport engineering; internal combustion engines.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for heating internal combustion engine and passenger compartment of city bus when engine is shut down at operation under low ambient temperature conditions. Proposed heating system is equipped with expansion tank whose compensating pipeline is connected with suction branch pipe of water pump of internal combustion engine, and drain pipe branch pipe is connected with water radiator. Phase transition heat accumulator and radiators-heaters of passenger compartment are connected in parallel with water radiator. Heat exchanger-exhaust gas heat recovery unit with tosol temperature sensor is installed before phase transition heat accumulator. Tosol temperature sensor is electrically coupled with control valve.
EFFECT: provision of considerable increase of temperature of liquid heat carrier getting into phase transition heat accumulator in process of heat accumulation without reducing air temperature in passenger compartment.
