FIELD: military equipment, in particular, articulated combat vehicles, providing for a high cross-country capacity and designed for reduction of vulnerability of combat equipment and enhancing of its viability at fulfillment of various combat tasks. SUBSTANCE: the combat vehicle has an armament with a laying drive, ammunition stock, internal combustion engine and articulated first and second sections joined by means of a turning- coupling arrangement, each section has a body with an electric power supply system and a transmission, running gear and crew stations, the internal combustion engine is installed in the second section. Additionally introduced are the first and second control units, electric power supply unit electrically coupled to the electric power supply systems of both sections of the combat vehicle, and mechanically - to the turning-coupling arrangement, electric generator installed in the second section and coupled to the internal combustion engine via the reduction gear, and to the electric power supply system - via a generator regulator and an automatic circuit-breaker. In each section use is made of storage batteries connected to the electric power supply system via automatic control circuit-breakers, floating charge units electrically coupled to the storage batteries and the electric power supply system via on-load tap-changers, electric motors electrically coupled to the electric power supply system via automatic control circuit-breakers, and mechanically to the transmission of the respective section. Introduced are pressure indicators located at the drivers stations, pressure transducers located on the turning-coupling arrangement and a data transmission unit connected to them, and connected to the inputs of the pressure transducers directly and to the electric motors and transmissions via the first control units. The data transmission unit is made for transmission of data to the drivers stations of each section and for reception of data from the stations, the first are made for control from the driver's station of the first section, the first control unit and the transmission of the second section, the second control unit and the internal combustion engine are made for control from the driver's station of the second section, the output of the second control unit is connected to the input of the electric generator.
