PROTECTIVE SYSTEM FOR COMBAT VEHICLE CREW Russian patent published in 2001 - IPC

FIELD: war technique; protection of tank crew. SUBSTANCE: protective system includes devices for protection against bad weather, impact protection and anti-noise devices, power supply source and intercom device with telephone headsets and telephone sets and laryngophones mounted in them. Innovation of system consists in availability of generator whose input is connected to output of power supply source and audio frequency signal source whose input is connected to first output of generator and output is connected to third input of telephone sets. System includes also electromagnetic relay fitted on telephone headset; armature of this relay holds spring-loaded cap which is in contact with head of crew member; its input is connected with second output of generator. EFFECT: enhanced combat efficiency; enhanced reliability of functioning of crew by 10 to 15 %. 2 cl, 1 dwg
