FIELD: packing of ammunition in a container designed for storage and transportation, in particular, method for packing of artillery small- caliber fixed rounds in a metal container with a sealed cover. SUBSTANCE: the method consists in stuffing of rounds in belt links, rolling-up of the belt on a spiral path, installation of the round head and bottom parts in the seats of the partitions leaving vacant the last belt link, independent installation of one round in the partition seats and packing in a metal container with a sealed cover. The vacant belt link is fixed on a rod fastened in the partition seats, from the top the partitions are reinforced by a band with handles forming the assembly, which then is installed on the bottom part of the metal container, and a forced clamping of the assembly is accomplished by means of the shock absorbers of the sealed cover and lever-cam clamps. EFFECT: enhanced functional reliability of round packing in a quickly detachable sturdy metal container with a sealed cover, strengthened portable monoblock of the rigid assembly placed inside. 5 dwg
