FIELD: packages, particularly metal quick-releasable container with air-tight lid adapted to store small-gage shells arranged in spirally laid tape links and prepared for firing automatic gun.
SUBSTANCE: air-tight metal package comprises box-like body and lid with rotary bail-shaped package carrying handle connected with each other by means of dampers and lever-cam locks. Lock levers are mounted on vertical slants along body corners. Guiding cams are made as opened hinges connected to plate-like arm ends. The arms are secured to short lid ends. Each arm has two symmetric bead extensions for rotary bail-shaped handle receiving.
EFFECT: increased metal package capacity along with standard package size maintaining and increased functional reliability during shell storage and transportation.
