FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: belt drive connecting and disconnecting mechanism has driving and driven pulleys, belt and tension device equipped with mechanism for deflecting driven run of belt from driving pulley. Tray is adapted for restricting slackening extent of driving run of belt. Pin of double-armed lever and drive lever of tension device is connected to slide. Drive lever is provided with belt tension extent indicator and is connected with its lower end to rod for sliding and rotating relative to this rod. Slide is positioned in guides and equipped with adjusting and retaining worm mechanism. Deflecting mechanism for driving run of belt is made in the form of L-shaped pivotal lever with stop. L-shaped lever is axially aligned with drive shaft and is connected to tension device through rod. Said mechanism is adapted for combine working tool drives and provides for optimal tensioning and tension compensation of belt.
