FIELD: agriculture. SUBSTANCE: method deals with spraying with aqueous solution of a preparation based upon double copolymer of acrylic acid amide and triacryloilhexahydro-1,3,5-triazine (CPAA) and 2,4,6-tris-[4'-carboxylatophenylamino(potassium)]-1,3,5-triazine (Kubaxine) at the following ratio of ingredients, wt.%: CPAA, 0.002-0.0001; Kubaxine, 0.001-0.0005; water, the balance. Vegetating plants are treated with aqueous solution of the preparation by double spraying on the second day after mowing and during budding phase at expenses of 200 l/ha per one treatment. Technical result shows higher seed productivity of alfalfa, increased height of plants after mowing, higher germinating capacity of crop-obtained seeds. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 1 tbl, 1 ex
