FIELD: medical equipment. SUBSTANCE: massaging chair has control unit, body made in the form of chair with massaging members formed as pliable blind tubes arranged in back and seat in parallel with back and seat junction line, pneumatic vibration source with movable armature inside it, pistons mounted on anchor ends, two pneumatic valves whose inputs are connected to outputs of air vibration source and outputs are connected to inputs of massaging members. Each pneumatic valve is made in the form of angled member arranged along sides of back and seat of chair body. One pneumatic valve is connected to even massaging members and other pneumatic valve is connected to odd massaging members. Layers of air-impermeable elastic fabric and perforated fabric are put on chair body over massaging members. Layers of fabric are separated by elastic straps, which are attached to chair back and seat between massaging members. Pneumatic vibration source has hermetically sealed casing and exciting coil placed on casing. Movable armature located inside hermetically sealed casing is made in the form of cylindrical magnet. Apparatus is further equipped with adjustable pulse current generator connected to control unit and interacting with exciting coil. Apparatus is used for recovering operator's working capacity, for performing curative massage and stimulating blood current in muscles. EFFECT: simplified construction, enhanced reliability in operation of pneumatic valves and wider operational capabilities. 2 dwg
