FIELD: forging press equipment, namely, powered presses. SUBSTANCE: striking press includes slide mounted in frame guides, apparatuses for balancing slide and flywheel with crank. Slide is kinematically joined with connecting rod by means of spheric pair arranged eccentrically relative to flywheel axis. Press also includes mechanism for driving flywheel, clutch, brake and additional connecting rod mounted at other side of flywheel relative to above mentioned connecting rod. Additional connecting rod is joined with frame and with crank by means of spheric pairs. Crank is mounted with possibility of translation motion relative to flywheel in parallel relative to axis of flywheel. Spheric pairs of additional connecting rod and frame and spheric pairs of connecting rod and slide are mounted on the same axis in parallel relative to flywheel axis and eccentrically relative to it. Eccentricity value is equal to spacing between flywheel axis and axis of spheric pairs of connecting rods with crank. EFFECT: reduced size of press, lowered metal content of press. 2 dwg
