FIELD: forging-pressing equipment. SUBSTANCE: crank-screw press has slide mounted in bed-plate guides and screw connected with slide. Screw is joined through non-self-braking thread with nut fixed in bed-plate and is connected to flywheel. Press power drive is made in the form of crank mechanism having connecting rods pivotally coupled with controllable power cylinders mounted in guides. Cylinder piston stems are connected through pivots to slide. Crankshaft is positioned below forging plane in press plate zone so that connecting rods and stems are subjected to stretching loads during speeding up of movable masses for working stroke. Flywheel is connected to screw through controllable coupling. EFFECT: enhanced reliability in operation, reduced power consumption for accomplishment of kinematic cycle and increased efficiency. 1 dwg
