FIELD: navigational instrumentation engineering; magnetic compasses with magnetic sensitive element mounted on bearing unit. SUBSTANCE: magnetic compass has housing with liquid and magnetic sensitive element with support and with cavity inside it. Magnetic sensitive element is mounted on bearing unit and is provided with permanent magnets and card. Bearing unit includes column on which holder of support and limiting nonmagnetic washer are located. Base of this column has through hole with slots of different configuration and sizes. Limiting non-magnetic washer is shaped in form and is provided with teeth of different configuration and sizes which coincide with those of through hole. Tail-piece of column is brought out of cavity through hole found in base of magnetic sensitive element. EFFECT: improved service characteristics of magnetic compass; facilitated assembly and disassembly of compass for manufacture and repair of magnetic compass; high quality of Manufactures assembly. 5 dwg
