FIELD: measurement of duration of processes in sparking plugs under aperiodic discharge. SUBSTANCE: meter incorporates transmitter, level discriminators, OR ELSE gate, counter, control unit, storage. Output of transmitter is connected to two discriminators, output of first discriminator is connected to first input of OR ELSE gate and to first input of control unit. Output of second discriminator is connected to second input of OR ELSE gate, output of OR ELSE gate is connected to first input of counter and to second input of control unit. Output of counter is connected to first input of storage, first output of control unit is connected to second input of counter, second output of control unit is connected to storage.
