SUBSTANCE: cat's eye sign has a base of non-transparent material with a great number of light reflecting elements in the form of surfaces forming tapered cavities or cavities, having the shape of trihedral pyramids with the vertices facing the side opposite the working surface, located on the side of the base working surface, the light reflecting elements on the whole working surface have a coating in the form of a metal highly reflecting layer or a layer of particles with a highly reflecting surface dispersed in a binder, a protective transparent coating and an information field in the form of an information text and/or image installed on the base working surface, positioned on part of the working surface of the light reflecting elements, and/or at least on one of the sides of the protective transparent coating, or on the protective transparent coating in case at least part of it is made in the form of an information field. EFFECT: expanded range of angles of incidence of radiation from the light source, at which its light return to the source is ensured, uniform and stable light return of incident radiation of a high degree of brightness, expanded potentialities of use and enhanced service life of the cat's eye sign. 5 cl, 6 dwg
