FIELD: minerals concentration, particularly, devices for pulp aeration applicable in processing metalliferous and nonmetalliferous raw materials, and in fermentation plants in biological and flotation treatment of sewage waters, for aeration in aerotanks, in wood-pulp and paper industry and other branches of engineering. SUBSTANCE: aerator includes body, branch pipe located in body for fluid supply and outlet nozzle connected with body and branch pipe for introduction of air. Branch pipe for fluid supply and outlet nozzle are coaxial and in a spaced relation to each other. Ratio of diameter of fluid supply branch pipe to width of gap between fluid supply branch pipe and outlet nozzle amounts from 5 to 15. Ratio of length of outlet nozzle to diameter of fluid supply branch pipe and ratio of diameter of fluid supply branch pipe to diameter of outlet nozzle equals 4 to 10. EFFECT: higher ejecting capacity of aerator with preserved flotation size of air bubbles due to optimization of aerator units parameters. 1 dwg
