FIELD: manufacture of pumps; construction of pumps intended for handling fuel in power plants of flying vehicles. SUBSTANCE: proposed centrifugal pump has housing with working chamber where impeller is mounted on drive shaft for axial motion. Impeller includes drive disk with blades which is connected with drive shaft and driven disk connected with blades. Pump is also provided with branch pipe for delivery of liquid to impeller blades, liquid discharge chamber located opposite trailing edges of impeller blades and axial force relief automatic unit which has circular projections made in central parts of drive and driven disks coaxially relative to shaft and circular projections made on walls of working chamber opposite circular projections found on disks forming clearances together with them; automatic unit includes also chambers formed by clearances between walls of working chamber and impeller disks. Applied to surface of circular projections of impeller disks and circular projections of chamber walls facing them are layers of hard alloy whose Rockwell hardness exceeds 55. Clearances between projections on impeller disks and on wall of chamber facing them have width of 45 to 55 mkm.
