FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention refers to process of clearing of transformers brought out of service and containing fluid based on polychlorobiphenyl as cooling electric insulation liquid. Process includes following operations: discharge of electric insulation fluid from transformer heated beforehand, cooling of transformer to temperature below boiling point of solvent, multiple clearing of internal surfaces and active part of transformer by vapors of solvent and by condensate of solvent. This multiple working by vapors of solvent and condensate of solvent is carried out due to circulation of solvent in closed circuit. Process is realized with the aid of device for clearing of transformers which has heating cabinet with separable cover, lower part of heating cabinet is connected by suction air conduit via air heater to fan which is connected by pressure air conduit to separable cover of heating cabinet. Transformer is connected via drain valve and flange that supplies vapors to evaporator fitted with jacket to form closed circuit. Flange of egress of vapors of solvent is connected to condenser connected to cooling machine. Lower part of condenser is connected via drain line to evaporator whose lower part is connected to tank for intake of electric insulation fluid. Upper part of tank is connected to flange of egress of vapors of solvent from transformer. Inspection skylight and flowmeter are placed in drain line. Technical result of proposed invention consists in that device for clearing of transformer displays high reliability, safety, operates without pressure, includes no pumps. EFFECT: process and device for clearing of transformer are simple in implementation and ensure qualitative clearing of transformer with use of little amount of solvent.. 3 cl, 1 dwg
