FIELD: power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises preliminary heating of the transformer, draining synthetic oil into the heated tank, and cyclic washing of the transformer with methylbenzene until required purity reaches. The mixture of methylbenzene with the residuals of synthetic oil is discharged after each washing and is separated by means of rotor-film evaporation. During washing, the temperature of methylbenzene is maintained in the interval of the temperatures of methylbenzene boiling. After separating, methylbenzene is used again for cleaning the transformer. After completion of the cleaning, the synthetic oil is used again. The oil is treated with oleum and triethanolamine in a ratio of oil to reagents as 1:2:3, respectively. Before treating the oil is mixed and heated up to a temperature of 80-150°C. During the treatment of oil with oleum it is heated up to a temperature 180-250°C, is mixed for 12-14 hours, cooled down to a temperature of 70-100°C, and treated with triethanolamine to complete the process of neutralizing.
