FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: technical result of use of proposed paste lies in prolonged service life of lead-acid cells due to reduced shedding of active mass from formed electrodes. It is achieved by employment of polyethylene fiber modified by 5% solution of alkyldichlorsilane of general formula RSiHCl2, where R is methyl, ethyl in organic solvent, in the capacity of filling agent in paste. EFFECT: prolonged service life of lead-acid cells. 1 tbl
