FIELD: antenna engineering for various radio systems. SUBSTANCE: wide-band directive antenna that may be used as self-contained device or as radiator of complex antenna assemblies has planar reflecting screen and zigzag-shaped radiating sheet degenerated into ring filled with two metal quadrants with power supply points 6 in their apexes and notches in the form of segments formed by arches of radius R = 0,18λmax and chords running at distance l = 0,15λmax from power supply points; side surfaces of one metal quadrant are connected to surfaces of other metal quadrant, which is mirror image of the former, through resistors of 100-200 Ohms at points spaced l = 0,15λmax apart from power supply points. Narrow strip conductor, d = 0,06λmax wide and S = (0,03-0,05)λmax long, where P = 0,25λmax is maximal wavelength of operating frequency band, is installed in front of zigzag-shaped radiating sheet at distance λmax along axis crossing its power supply points symmetrically to its geometric center. EFFECT: improved stabilization of antenna directivity pattern in operating frequency band.
